Work Package 6: Synthesis, model scoring and assessment of projected future climate change

Tasks and milestones:
1. Data-model comparison using existing (Central Europe & Alps, Scandinavia, Mediterranean and Nordic Island) and new (Poland) target paleoclimate reconstructions and existing perturbed ensemble simulations that were generated within the project "MILLENNIUM".
2. Selection of the 'best-fit-with-the-past' model configuration and assessment of the respective model projections for the 21st century for Poland.

Expected results:
Information on most likely climate model configuration, future projections of climate change with reduced uncertainties.
